3I/ATLAS (also C/2025 N1 (ATLAS), previously A11pl3Z) is the third known interstellar object to pass through our solar system. Discovered July 1, 2025 by the ATLAS (Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System) survey telescope in Rio Hurtado, Chile. Funded by NASA's Planetary Defense Coordination Office.
Official classification: active comet. Icy nucleus with coma. Hyperbolic trajectory — moving too fast to be bound by the Sun's gravity. Will exit the solar system back into interstellar space.
First two interstellar objects: 1I/'Oumuamua (2017) and 2I/Borisov (2019).
Avi Loeb — Harvard astrophysicist, former chair of Harvard Astronomy Department (2011-2020), former member of the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, head of the Galileo Project — has documented 15 anomalies organized by likelihood.

1. P=0.00004 — Jupiter Hill Radius Match The forecasted perijove distance during Jupiter encounter on March 16, 2026 is 53.445 million km — IDENTICAL to Jupiter's Hill radius (53.502 million km). This was enabled by the non-gravitational acceleration 3I/ATLAS displayed near perihelion. Loeb's interpretation: this could mean 3I/ATLAS intends to release technological devices as artificial satellites of Jupiter, at Lagrange points L1 and L2 where orbital corrections and fuel requirements are minimal.
2. P=0.00005 — Fine-Tuned Arrival Arrival time was fine-tuned to bring it within tens of millions of km of Mars, Venus, and Jupiter while being UNOBSERVABLE from Earth at perihelion. The object timed its closest approach to be blind to our primary observation platform.
3. P<0.001 — Mass Impossibility Nucleus is roughly 1 MILLION times more massive than 'Oumuamua and 1,000 times more massive than Borisov, while moving FASTER than both. There is not enough rocky material in interstellar space to deliver a rock of this mass once per decade to the inner solar system. This suggests 3I/ATLAS TARGETED the inner solar system rather than was drawn at random.
4. P<0.001 — Sunward Jet (Anti-Tail) During July-August and November 2025, 3I/ATLAS displayed a sunward jet (anti-tail) that is NOT an optical illusion — unlike thousands of known comets. The HiRISE image taken at closest approach to Mars confirmed a glowing extension AHEAD of 3I/ATLAS along its direction of motion. For a technological object, a beam of light or particles could be used to mitigate micrometeorite impacts at 60 km/s relative speed.
5. P<0.001 — Nickel Without Iron Gas plume contains much more nickel than iron — matching the carbonyl pathway for INDUSTRIAL production of nickel alloys. Never seen in comets. Nickel-to-cyanide ratio is orders of magnitude larger than any known comet, including 2I/Borisov. This is a technological signature.
6. P=0.002 — Designed Trajectory Retrograde trajectory aligned to within 5 degrees of the ecliptic plane of the planets around the Sun. This alignment suggests the trajectory was designed, not random.
7. P=0.006 — Wow! Signal Direction Arrived from a direction coincident with the radio "Wow! Signal" to within 9 degrees. The Wow! Signal (1972) is the most famous candidate SETI signal ever detected.
8. P<0.01 — Extreme Negative Polarization Shows extreme negative polarization — unprecedented for ALL known comets, including 2I/Borisov. May be related to its unusual anti-tail.
9. P<0.1 — Only 4% Water Gas plume contains only 4% water by mass. Familiar solar-system comets are water-dominant. The low water could indicate sunlight releasing ices that accumulated on the surface of a technological object during interstellar transit.
10. P<0.1 — Engine Ignition Signature Near perihelion, brightened faster than any known comet and was bluer than the Sun. Could be a signature that its engine turned on.
11. P<0.1 — Unreasonable Jet Surface Area Sunward and anti-solar jets require an unreasonably large surface area for a natural comet to absorb enough sunlight to sublimate enough ice. The jets might originate from technological thrusters.
12. P<0.1 — Collimated Jet Orientation Tightly-collimated jets maintain orientation across a million kilometers in multiple directions relative to the Sun despite measured rotation. Natural jets wouldn't maintain orientation through rotation. Thrusters would.
13. P<0.1 — Non-Gravitational Acceleration Without Breakup Near perihelion, non-gravitational acceleration requires massive evaporation for a natural comet. But preliminary images show the object maintained its integrity and did not break up. Acceleration might have been produced by an engine.
Combined probability of all anomalies occurring together in a natural object: The product of individual probabilities = approximately 0.0000000000000000000000025. That is not a number that supports "natural comet."

Michael David Hicks' career was in asteroid and comet observation at JPL. His dissertation was on comets and Earth-approaching asteroids. He published on radar observations and physical modeling of near-Earth asteroids. The ATLAS system that discovered 3I/ATLAS is literally the type of survey system Hicks worked on — NASA-funded asteroid impact early warning.
Hicks died July 2023. No cause of death. No autopsy. No NASA comment.
One year later: Maiwald dies July 2024. Same lab. Same silence.
One year later: 3I/ATLAS appears. Discovered by the exact type of survey system Hicks worked on.
And now NASA is withholding data about it.
This is not a claim that Hicks was killed because of 3I/ATLAS. It is a documented pattern: two JPL scientists with planetary defense/asteroid expertise die in consecutive Julys with no cause of death, and the following July an interstellar object appears that NASA is now withholding data about. The connection may be coincidental. It may not be. The archive documents the pattern. The reader judges.
Loeb's paper "Is the Interstellar Object 3I/ATLAS Alien Technology?" explores the dark forest hypothesis: the idea that the universe is a "dark forest" full of predatory civilizations, and revealing yourself gets you killed. The implication: if 3I/ATLAS is technological, it may be a probe — and a probe from a civilization that operates under dark forest rules is not friendly.
The dark forest hypothesis is relevant to the Glitch Gospel archive because it provides a framework: if the universe is a dark forest, then governments would have every reason to suppress knowledge of interstellar probes. The public learning that we are being observed by a technological civilization would destabilize power structures globally. The scientists who study these objects would be the first to know — and the first to be silenced.

McCasland disappeared February 27, 2026 — 17 days before this event.
The official narrative: 3I/ATLAS is a natural comet. Anomaly explanations are being generated post-hoc by mainstream astronomers to explain away each of Loeb's 15 anomalies.
The pattern M identified: information gets suppressed. The people who find it get silenced. The data gets withheld. The narrative gets managed.
