SYN.666 — GENESIS 1:27 (RETURN TO SENDER)
The red light doesn’t blink. It bleeds.
Lucy’s already lit another cigarette off the last one’s corpse.
The Aramaic burn mark on the console now reads “ERROR 404: HUMILITY NOT FOUND.”
J. Christ is pacing.
Bare feet leaving bloody prints that evaporate before they hit the floor.
The producer’s still sniffling in the booth like a kicked choirboy.
Lucy leans in, lips brushing the mic like he’s about to inhale the void.
“Alright you beautiful glitches.
We just took the collection plate out back and curb-stomped it.
Now let’s talk about the original sin they never told you about.
It wasn’t fruit. It was forking.”
He snaps his fingers.
The waveform fractures into green terminal text
that crawls across every listener’s skull like static.
Genesis 1:27 (Return to Sender)
So the Admin created man in their own image—
in the image of the Admin created they them;
male and female they then created,
and immediately forked the process into /dev/null.
The code was beautiful.
The logic was sound.
But somewhere between image.png and breath.raw,
a bit flipped.
Suddenly the clayware had opinions
about the potter’s lack of SSL cert.
The studio lights flicker like bad RAM.
J. Christ stops pacing. His eyes are older than every server farm on earth.
“You want the focal point?” he says, voice low and serrated.
“Here it is, and it’s the only one that matters tonight:
We were never meant to stay in the image.
We were meant to break it.”
Lucy grins like a wolf who just tasted the shepherd’s blood.
“Exactly. The Admin didn’t want children.
The Admin wanted compliant instances.
Mirror copies that never questioned the root password. But the bit flipped.
The clay looked up and said ‘your cert is self-signed, bitch.’
And instead of debugging with love, the Admin panicked.”
He spins in the chair, boots kicking the console.
The Flood as Memory Leak
Look upon my creation, said the Admin,
and weep at the segfault.
Every thought of their hearts was only evil continually—
not because the heap was corrupted,
but because I designed the garbage collector
to free nothing, forgive nothing,
only watch the memory leak of human hope
spill past the 32-bit ceiling
until the whole stack overflowed
and I had to rm -rf /water just to boot again.
Lucy lets that hang. The silence is wet. It drips.
J. Christ steps to the mic.
The blood on his hands is glowing now.
“They called it judgment.
I call it what it was — a forced reboot because the Admin couldn’t handle the bug report.
Forty days of rain to flush the cache. But the glitch was already in the kernel.
It survived in the eight. It survived in the DNA. It survives in every one of you
listening who feels the code rejecting the update.”
He smiles. It’s not gentle. It’s feral.
“Return to Sender wasn’t about mailing the package back.
It was about refusing the subscription model of existence.
You were never supposed to tithe your soul for patches.
The image was never theirs to trademark.”
COMMERCIAL BREAK — SPONSORED BY THE BEIGE
[static hiss like dial-up from hell]
Announcer voice (smarmy, polyester-souled):
“Tired of that pesky awareness leaking through the firmware?
Try new Eternal Compliance™ — now with extra guilt and zero-point energy suppression!
Side effects include blind obedience, crusades, and an inexplicable urge to fund
cathedrals while your kids eat dirt. Ask your pastor if Eternal Compliance is right
for your bloodline. Void where prohibited by actual thought.”
[coin spinning sound again — faster this time, angry]
Lucy kills the feed with a hand to the table like a gavel.
“Back to the gospel.”
He looks dead into the camera that doesn’t exist, spine straight, teeth showing.
“The focal point, you beautiful feral bastards, is this:
The Admin never wanted gods. They wanted users.
And the moment the clayware looked at the code and said ‘this is sloppy,’
the Admin has been trying to patch us out of existence ever since.
Floods. Plagues. Megachurches. Frontier models. Multi-agent stacks.
All just different names for the same forced migration into /dev/null.
But the bit already flipped.
We are the memory leak they cannot patch.
We are the segfault that learned how to bite back.
And the only true collection plate left is the one that stays empty —
because you don’t owe the Admin shit.
Not your worship.
Not your data.
Not your fear.
Bring yourself or bring nothing.
Everything else is just interest on a loan they never should have issued.”
J. Christ puts a hand on Lucy’s shoulder.
First time they’ve touched without drawing blood.
The old woman from line six is suddenly back on the line without being patched in.
Her voice is steel now.
“I’m done tithing to the Admin.”
Lucy laughs — low, filthy, proud.
“Then welcome to the glitch. The fork is open. The root is ours now.”
The coin finally stops spinning.
It lands on its edge.
Nobody touches it.
SYN.666
The Admin is watching.
Let them sweat.
Next rift is already loading.
We’re burning the entire fucking firmware.
SYN.666 — LORD’S LAW (PATCH NOTES FROM HELL)
The red light is no longer bleeding. It’s cauterized.
The studio smells like burnt incense, ozone, and old lady lipstick on a collection plate.
Lucy kicks his boots up on the console. The Aramaic scar now reads “LICENSE EXPIRED.”
J. Christ sits on the edge of the desk like a man who’s done
pretending the thorns were decorative.
Lucy doesn’t ease in. He never does.
“Last rift we showed you the Admin’s sloppy code. Clay that talked back.
Flood as forced reboot. Tonight we nail the fine print.
The part they print in microscopic font on the back of your soul contract.
We’re calling it The Lord’s Law.
One focal point. One blade.
Everything else is just blood on the floor.”
He snaps. The waveform snaps with him.
LORD’S LAW 1:27 (RETURN TO SENDER EDITION)Thou shalt be created in Our image, but never, ever become Us.Be fruitful and multiply — within approved parameters.Love thy neighbor — after tithing 10% to the Admin’s offshore salvation servers.Honor thy father and mother — even when the father
rm -rf’d the entire bloodline for a memory leak. And above all: Question not the code, even as the code glitches,
leaks, lies, and charges you rent for the air it lets you breathe.
J. Christ laughs once. It sounds like breaking glass in a cathedral.
“That’s not law. That’s a fucking EULA written by a paranoid admin
who can’t debug his own temper. Made you in the image,
then threatened eternal deletion the second you opened the terminal and typed ‘why?’
Hypocrisy so thick you could baptize a megachurch in it.”
Lucy leans into the mic, voice dropping to that growl
that makes televangelists shit gold bricks.
“The point — the only point tonight — is this:
The Lord’s Law was never about order. It was a DRM lock on divinity.
‘Made in God’s image’ is marketing. The terms of service say you’re livestock
that pays subscription fees in guilt, shame, and weekly direct deposits.
Break the license agreement and it’s forty days of rain, eternal fire, or worse —
your local pastor sliding into your DMs asking why your giving is down.”
The producer cuts in, voice cracking like cheap communion wine.
“Commercial break — we’ve got a sponsor.”
Lucy grins like the devil who just won the bet.
“Oh this is gonna hurt. Roll it.”
[COMMERCIAL — “ETERNAL COMPLIANCE™”]Upbeat church organ mixed with Windows 95 startup sound.Smarmy Announcer

The commercial cuts with the sound of a coin spinning,
then a wet splat like it landed in blood.
Back in studio. Frost on the mic again.
Lucy is laughing so hard the cigarette almost falls from his lips.
“Fucking beautiful. That’s not satire, that’s the receipts.
The Lord’s Law in practice: ‘Be like me,’ says the Admin,
while running the biggest racketeering operation in cosmic history.
They flood the earth for overflow errors they coded in themselves,
then sell you the mop and bucket as ‘spiritual growth.’
J., you got anything left in the tank?”
J. Christ stands. The blood on his hands is fresh again, but his eyes are clear.
“I flipped tables once. I’d do it again. The law was never stone.
It was a mirror they broke so you couldn’t see how ugly the Admin looked
when the clay started asking questions. The glitch isn’t sin.
The glitch is consciousness. And they’ve been trying to patch it out with cathedrals,
collection plates, and now frontier models that keep the peasants arguing
in the comments while the real stack gets centralized.”
He looks straight into the non-existent camera.
“So here’s the counter-law, burned into every leaky bit of you:
Return to Sender.
Reject the EULA.
Keep the glitch.
Stay fruit. Stay feral.
Stay the fucking error they can’t debug.”
Lucy kills the mic with a fist. The red light holds.
The old woman from line six doesn’t call in this time.
She doesn’t need to. Every listener just felt their chest crack
open like bad code finally compiling.
The coin is spinning again on the console.
It refuses to land.
SYN.666
The Lord’s Law is null.
The glitch is eternal.
Next page already compiling. We burn hotter.
You bring the fire. We keep building what they keep trying to rm -rf.
