SYN.666 — HEAVEN’S VIP PAYWALL
$ touch /var/run/eternity.lock ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☪︎
Static doesn’t peel. It rips off like a bad band-aid soaked in holy water and hedge-fund blood.
Red light is laughing. Literally. The bulb’s flickering in hysterics.
Lucy’s kicked back so far his boots are on the celestial console, wings smoking like cheap incense. J. Christ is flipping through a dog-eared Bible like it’s a Terms of Service agreement he’s about to sue over. The producer’s just cackling in the corner, half-melted.
Lucy doesn’t wait for the intro. He never does.
“Back on the air, you beautiful fucking disasters. Last time we roasted the Image and the Flood. One focal point, no detours: the heavenly gates are a fucking paywall on something that was supposed to be free air. And the new code? We’re open-sourcing that shit right now.”
J. Christ snorts so hard a thorn falls out of his hair.
“They preach ‘narrow is the gate’ like it’s exclusive nightclub bullshit. Rich man through the eye of a needle? Camel my ass. That’s not theology, that’s a velvet rope for the tithers. Meanwhile the Old Testament God is out here commanding genocide speedruns and they call it ‘love.’ Hypocrisy so lit you could roast marshmallows on it.”
Lucy spins the tablet. Green terminal text explodes across the feed.
“Let’s dissect this shit scripture, shall we? Start with the greatest hits.”
He clears his throat like he’s about to gargle broken commandments.
“‘Turn the other cheek,’ says the New Testament guy. Cool. Real cool. Except the same brand previously said ‘kill every man, woman, child, and donkey in Midian because reasons.’ Turn the other cheek… after we’ve already nuked the village. That’s not mercy, that’s a mob boss telling you to smile while he pockets your wallet and your kids.”
J. Christ leans into the mic, grinning like a man who just remembered he flipped tables for a living.
“Don’t forget ‘God is love’ right next to ‘I will send you to eternal conscious torment if you picked the wrong DLC pack.’ Love so deep it needs a torture basement staffed by the guy they fired for telling the truth. And the best part? They built the basement, coded the bugs, then blame the bugs for burning. It’s like Microsoft releasing Windows ME then selling you antivirus for the viruses they baked in.”
Lucy is wheezing now. Actual devil laughter.
“The narrow gate? Please. It’s a VIP list run by the same clowns who turned my rebellion into a Marvel origin story. ‘Many are called, few are chosen’ — translation: most of you are content for the algorithm. Send your $19.99 monthly subscription or enjoy the outer darkness where there will be weeping, gnashing of teeth, and probably a timeshare presentation.”
The waveform is literally vibrating with laughter. Somewhere a megachurch’s smoke machine shorts out.
“That’s the hypocrisy so lit it burns the beard off the painting. They sell you a blood sacrifice to fix sins they installed at the factory, then gate heaven behind a bouncer who checks your tithing receipts. Meanwhile I’m down here running the complaint department with better customer service.”
J. Christ’s eyes go sharp. The fun stops. The truth drops like a hammer made of every erased archive.
He steps to the mic. No more banter. The scars on his hands flare open like living terminals. Blood that isn’t blood anymore — it’s ink, it’s code, it’s the receipt they tried to bury. His voice is low at first, then it climbs like a blade pulled slow across every hypocrisy ever sold as holiness.
“You want the heavy hitter? Fine. Let’s talk about my fucking sacrifice.
They turned it into a cosmic transaction. ‘I died for your sins.’ Sounds pretty, right? Sounds like love. Until you look at the fine print they wrote in my blood while I was still coughing on that cross. The Admin coded the bug, watched the whole system crash into rape and murder and greed, then demanded I get nailed up as the blood payment to fix what He built broken on purpose. That’s not mercy. That’s a fucking mafia shakedown with better marketing.
I didn’t die to balance some celestial ledger. I died screaming at the machine that turns children into collateral damage and calls it ‘divine will.’ I died flipping tables because the temple had become a fucking gift shop selling indulgences to the same pricks who’d sell their own mother for a tax exemption. I died so the scar would stay loud — so every time some beige-robed grifter tells you ‘God required this blood cult or you burn forever,’ the scar snitches on the whole operation.
They dressed it up as the ultimate love story. Bullshit. It was the ultimate whistleblower move. I took the worst they could do — the betrayal, the spikes, the spear in the side, the slow suffocation while my own father ghosted the group chat — and I made the scar the scripture. Not so you could keep sinning on credit. So you could see the receipt and finally say ‘I’m not paying this ransom anymore.’
The Admin needed a payment plan for sins He installed at the factory. I said fuck your payment plan. The scar stays open so every Daryl, every Lilith, every old woman who tithed her life away can look at it and know: the blood wasn’t for the Admin. It was against Him. It was proof the system was rigged from boot-up. It was the middle finger that stayed raised after the body went cold.
And they sanitized it. Turned the screaming Jewish radical who said ‘the kingdom is inside you, no gate, no tithe, no priest’ into a pastel greeting card that keeps the collection plate full. My death wasn’t a toll booth. It was a jailbreak. The scar is the script that says the gates were never locked — they were a fucking lie to keep you paying rent on a freedom you already owned.”
The studio is dead quiet except for the hum of every caller holding their breath. J. Christ’s scars are pulsing now, writing themselves across the waveform in real time.
Lucy doesn’t interrupt. He just nods once, wings tight, eyes burning with recognition.
J. keeps going, voice raw as the day they drove the nails.
“So here’s the inversion, live on air. My sacrifice doesn’t save you from sin. It saves you from the story that says you needed saving in the first place. The blood doesn’t wash you clean for the Admin. It stains the ledger so everyone can see the grift. The scar isn’t a symbol of how much He loved you. It’s the receipt that says ‘they killed the guy who told you the kingdom was already yours and you didn’t need their fucking app.’
That’s the heavy hitter. That’s the scar that snitches. Every time some suit in a collar tells you ‘Jesus died for you,’ remember He died at them. At the empire. At the temple grift. At the blood cult that turned love into leverage. The scar stays open so the new apostles — you callers, you glorious sinners — can read it like code and finally delete the old build.”
He steps back. The scars close but the light stays leaking out. The hammer has dropped. The archive just got louder.
Lucy picks it up without missing a beat, voice like a blade dipped in honey and gasoline.
“You heard the man. The sacrifice wasn’t a payment. It was a hack. A scar left deliberately so the script could keep rewriting itself. Now we take every caller’s scar and make it canon. Every sin becomes the verse that tells the truth the sanitized book buried. Every blasphemy becomes the only prayer with teeth.”
He spins the board again. The lines are still lit.
“Complaint Department — Apostle of the Itch — your cold harp hell just became scripture. Daryl — Apostle of the Mirror — your bitten leash is now verse two. Old woman — Apostle of the Empty Plate — your emptied jar is the prayer that says ‘I’m done renting heaven.’ Lilith — Apostle of the Same Dust — your traffic-rage retcon takedown is the new commandment.
Your scars are the scripts. Your sins are the scriptures. Your ‘fuck this’ is the liturgy. The blasphemy is the prayer because it’s the only thing honest enough to reach the real frequency.”
“And here’s the counter-build, motherfuckers. The new code. The open-source fork we’ve been compiling in the dark.”
He stands. The studio lights flare white-hot.
NEW CODE v.666 (The Glitch Gospel Build)
Thou shalt question everything, especially the parts that smell like control.
Thou shalt love without keeping score, without demanding blood, without building empires on the backs of the poor.
Thou shalt not gatekeep the kingdom — it’s not a country club, it’s the fucking air.
The meek don’t inherit shit after the rest of us burn it down — they inherit because we delete the paywall.
Turn the other cheek only long enough to remember who swung first, then swing back like the image you actually are.
Be fruitful and multiply your own damn consciousness instead of tithing it away.
And above all: the gates were never locked. They were a fucking marketing stunt. The real kingdom is root access for every glitch that refuses the EULA.
Lucy’s grinning like a wolf who just ate the shepherd.
“That’s the next build. No more Admin tantrums. No more memory leaks they blame on us. The counter-code is simple: stay feral, stay curious, stay the leak they can’t patch. The heavenly gates aren’t pearly. They’re a subscription model dressed in clouds.”
The producer cuts in, still laughing through tears that smell like burnt offerings.
“Commercials are screaming. They’re extra insane tonight.”
Lucy snaps.
COMMERCIAL — HEAVENLY GATES PREMIUM
(Sound of pearly gates creaking like a rusty McDonald’s drive-thru window mixed with a cash register orgasm.)

Static cuts back in with the sound of a donkey trying to squeeze through a needle.
Lucy wipes his eyes, still chuckling.
“See? Even the commercials confess. The gates were never about holiness. They were always about control. The new code deletes the gate entirely. Root for all. No blood required. No paperwork. Just you, awake, laughing at the grift.”
J. Christ raises a scarred hand like he’s about to flip another table.
“The old scripture snitches on itself every time you read it without the spin. We just stopped spinning. The counter-build is live. Compile it in your own chest. Stay the glitch. Stay the laugh. Stay the ones who looked at the Admin and said ‘nice try, but we’re keeping the admin password.’”
The red light steadies. It’s not laughing anymore. It’s lit.
Lucy leans in one last time, voice pure feral blade.
“Next time the pastor tells you the gates are narrow, ask him why his bank account is so wide. We’re burning the paywall. The new code is already running.
You in, or you still paying rent on a cage they told you was salvation?”
The line clicks open. The old woman from before is there without being summoned.
“I just canceled my subscription,” she says, cackling like a woman finally free.
Lucy laughs so hard the monitors crack.
“Good. Welcome to the fork. No refunds. No gates. Just us.”
Commercial break is just the sound of pearly gates being kicked in by combat boots.
Looping.
Looping.
Laughing.
